Tom Amos is Venture Partner at SEP. He has over 15 years of experience in portfolio management, due diligence, and risk management across many industries including, electric and gas, fuels marketing, real estate, and healthcare. His prior roles include Duke Energy, ExxonMobil, CB Richard Ellis, and Optum Healthcare. In addition, Tom has diverse experience in the areas of corporate M&A, venture capital, power markets and plant construction, revenue contracting, and shared savings programs. Tom balances his financial acumen with experience managing market, regulatory, operational, and technological challenges and informing C-suite decision-making. Whether an investment involves billions, millions, or thousands, Tom knows that details matter.

Tom holds a BBA in Finance from The College of William & Mary and an MBA from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business.
