SEP Joins Stanford University's Hydrogen Initiative and Precourt Energy Institute Corporate Affiliates Program

Other Members include ExxonMobil, GS Futures, Chevron, SK, Azimuth Capital, GTI Energy, Shell, SoCalGas, Technip Energies, Toyota, and Trafigura

Boulder, Colorado – July 26, 2023 - Saoradh Enterprise Partners (SEP), a cleantech venture capital and research firm based in Boulder, Colorado, is pleased to announce its membership in the Stanford Hydrogen Initiative and the Stanford Energy Corporate Affiliates (SECA) program. The initiative and program are housed in the Precourt Institute for Energy at the Doerr School of Sustainability at Stanford University. These memberships in research-industry partnerships strengthen SEP’s ability to offer data-driven cleantech solutions to F500 corporations and build startups in cleantech innovation hubs.

The Stanford Energy Hydrogen Initiative is an interdisciplinary collaboration of researchers at Stanford University, spanning engineering, science, policy, and business. The initiative aims to harness the power of hydrogen to achieve significant decarbonization of global energy systems. By partnering with industry leaders, thought pioneers, and governments, the initiative promotes the use of hydrogen as a clean energy solution. It includes research, education such as workshops and symposia, and community building.

SEP has also joined SECA, which serves as a gateway for organizations interested in energy research at Stanford. SECA facilitates robust interactions between industry entities and Stanford's esteemed faculty and graduate students, fostering collaborative research and knowledge exchange. By participating in SECA, SEP gains access to a wide range of energy-related topics, including interdisciplinary studies and specialized focus areas, nurturing partnerships that drive impactful advancements in the energy landscape.

"SEP is thrilled to join Stanford University's Hydrogen Initiative and SECA program as a regular member along with industry leaders," said Paul Nelson, Managing Partner at Saoradh Enterprise Partners. "We believe that hydrogen is a transformative solution for achieving deep decarbonization. Stanford's commitment to research, education, and industry collaboration aligns perfectly with our vision. We look forward to collaborating with Stanford's exceptional researchers, thought leaders, and industry partners to accelerate the development and deployment of hydrogen technologies."

SEP announced its Hydrogen Data Consortium last month that includes major industry players, cutting-edge technology startups & key research organizations that are driving the clean energy transition.
