Market Analyst Intern

Samuel Siegal is a Market Analyst intern at SEP, studying Business Administration at CU Boulder's Leeds School of Business with a focus on Finance and Sustainable Business.

He brings hands-on experience across climate tech, venture capital, and finance: he co-founded Boulder Climate Ventures, an agtech startup developing mobile shade systems to reduce heat stress on livestock; sourced and evaluated early-stage startups as Coordinator for the Boulder Venture Capital Club; supervised operations across 10 intramural sports at the CU Recreation Center; and interned at Metrum Community Credit Union.

Outside of markets and midterms, Sam can be found snowboarding, backpacking, or otherwise exploring the Colorado outdoors.

Delaney Khung

Delaney Khung is an Analyst at SEP. Delaney was part of SEP’s 2020 summer intern cohort before becoming a full-time analyst in 2021. She has a strong background in economics and environmental studies and has been vital in developing SEP’s IFR system, including mapping hubs and contributing to client projects. Delaney splits her time between SEP and assignments designated by Jeffrey Sachs at the UN Sustainable Development Solutions Network.

Delaney holds a BA in Economics and Environmental Studies (magna cum laude) from the University of Colorado Boulder. Her undergraduate honors thesis examined how property rights impact a country’s ability to manage carbon emissions.
