Hydrogen Trade Flows Roundtable Comes to Yokohama on October 13

Preview

The series began in Boulder, Colorado, in October 2025 and continued in Houston in March 2026. Each gathering has advanced a shared goal: driving collaborative conversations about the growing global demand for clean hydrogen and its derivative fuels, particularly in Asia and Western Europe.

Meeting that demand will require a common understanding of existing assets, demand, and gaps. The roundtable brings together producers, utilities, midstream companies, equipment providers, traders, terminal operators, port authorities, and investors to coordinate action across the value chain.

At the center of the roundtable is a trade flows data system, guided by these stakeholders and developed and maintained by SEP. It tracks hydrogen and derivative supply, production, infrastructure, shipping, and trade in real time. It also provides forecasts of supply, shipping and bunkering capacity, port projects, and global demand.
